Platforms represent where metrics are implemented. Duodata supports multiple platform types.

Platform types

• Snowflake: full semantic publishing support via native app
• Databricks: schema sync and implementation mappings
• BI tools: mapping and deep linking

Schema upload vs schema sync

• Manual upload: download schema from your platform and upload it to Duodata
• Native-app sync via Git: schema is pulled into the repository automatically

For Snowflake, the platform is uniquely identified by organization + account.

"Allow manual implementation" mode

When enabled, implementation mappings can be managed manually without requiring automated schema sync.
